Students who meet specified eligibility criteria are eligible to substitute two specified courses from the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences core curriculum for two specified courses shared between the Master of Science in Management and MBA Healthcare Administration concentrations. This accelerated option allows students to fast-track toward a graduate degree. Courses are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate.
Eligibility criteria:
1. Successful completion of 90 undergraduate credits;
2. Successful completion of ENG 310 and HSC 303, Professionalism in Health Sciences
3.GPA of 3.5 or higher
Course substitutions include:
HCA 7720 Health Policy and Economics in place of HSC 380 Health Care Policy and,
HCA 7740 Legal Aspects in Health Care in place of HSC 313 Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare.
Students must complete and submit the Dual-Credit Advantage intent form (located in the Health Sciences Student Handbook and the Health Sciences student organization site) to the Health Sciences Program Chair for review. Eligible students will receive advisement from the Health Sciences Program Chair regarding course selection.
Please note that students who seek admittance into the MBA Healthcare Administration concentration may have additional course pre-requisites that must be completed prior to full admission into the MBA program.
